We have invested 5 years in creating EDI connections between trading partners and today we can offer connections to all retailers and stores in Estonia. We work with both large retail chains, such as COOP, Selver, Maxima, Rimi, Prisma, Lidl, and smaller chains, for example, A1000, Aldar, R-kiosk, Bolt, Wolt, as well as single stores such as Kaubamaja and Stockmann.
Chains and stores no longer make any difference which operator their suppliers choose, Telema or Docura. For them, both operators are equivalent. The supplier now decides which operator to choose.
The Myth
It is believed that you can start working with an EDI operator only if it has the connections with all retail chains. However, expanding the partner network and EDI connections is a ongoing process and the reason for this is the permanent changes of the market. It’s like the city of Tallinn, which is constantly growing and will never be completed.
If some smaller stores may not yet be connected to our partner network, this does not mean that EDI connections cannot be established. We connect an average of 4 new retailers to our network every month, and our network is constantly expanding.
